Privacy
This site collects what it needs to serve files and to defend the servers from abuse, and nothing beyond that. There is no account to create, so there is no profile to build.
What is recorded
- Ordinary web server logs: your IP address, the time, the page or file requested, and the browser string your device sends.
- Download grants: when you take a download link, the file, the server you were sent to and the IP address the link was issued to are recorded. The link only works from that address, which is what stops links being harvested and passed around.
- What you type into a form: a production request, or a takedown notice with the name, email address and statement you provide.
What is not
- No third-party analytics or advertising script runs on this site. Nothing on a page loads from an advertising network, a tag manager or a social widget.
- Artwork and screenshots are served from our own storage, so viewing a page does not report you to an image host or a metadata provider.
- No data is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone except as described below.
Cookies
Two cookies, both strictly functional: a session cookie, and the token that protects the forms on this site from being submitted from somewhere else. There are no advertising or tracking cookies to consent to.
The session cookie is also what remembers which requests you have already voted for. Block it and voting still works — you simply get no warning when you vote for the same production twice.
Who else sees a request
- A content delivery network sits in front of the site and caches pages. It sees the requests it serves.
- Download servers are machines we run. They see the IP address of the connection downloading a file, and the file.
- Nobody else. Metadata for a production is fetched by our servers, from public datasets and the TMDB API, before the page is published — your browser never talks to them.
How long it is kept
- Download grants are short-lived by design; a link expires within minutes and the record behind it is pruned once it is no longer useful for abuse defence.
- Server logs are kept for a short period for security and capacity work, then discarded.
- A takedown notice is kept for as long as the complaint record needs to exist. That is the point of the record, and it includes the contact details you gave.
- A production request is kept while it is open. The text you submit is published on the request page, so do not put anything personal in it.
Questions
Write to the address on the contact page. If you want the copy of a form submission you made removed, say which one and when you sent it.
